This year’s Impact Day fundraising gala will take place on December 11 at Bank Palace in Stockholm’s Old Town. The evening is dedicated to supporting the Swedish-African Neurosurgical Collaboration (SANC), a non-profit organization working to build sustainable neurosurgical care in Africa. Through training, knowledge exchange, and capacity building, SANC empowers local doctors and hospitals to save lives where access to neurosurgery is most limited.
Impact Day brings together world-class leaders and innovators to highlight the importance of turning ideas into lasting impact. This year’s speakers include:
Jan Eliasson, Former Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations
Holger Kissel, Senior Vice President of BioNTech, sharing insights from the race to develop vaccines
David J. Langer, MD, Chair of Neurosurgery at Lenox Hill Hospital, NYC, and featured in Netflix’s Lenox Hill and Emergency: NYC
Purvi Kunwar, Co-Founder of Precision NeuroMed
Magnus Tisell, Chief Neurosurgeon at Sahlgrenska University Hospital and initiator of Swedish African Neurosurgery Collaboration (SANC)
The evening program will feature inspiring talks, followed by a reception, entertainment, and the Impact Accelerated After Party.
